About This Spot

Stepping into Little Rosie's feels like settling into a cherished corner of Yucaipa, where the rhythms of daily life slow just enough to savor moments over hearty, authentic Mexican fare. The atmosphere is unpretentious and welcoming, a casual local eatery where neighbors and newcomers alike find their spot at the counter or a small table, drawn by the comforting aroma of fresh tortillas and simmering sauces.

The pace here is easygoing but attentive — whether it's a weekday lunch rush or a quiet morning breakfast, there's a warmth that comes through in the friendly exchanges and the hum of Latino music weaving softly through the space. This isn’t just a meal; it’s a chance to connect with a style of cooking that holds steady to its roots while embracing playful touches, like a dish inspired by spicy snack favorites or inventive takes on classic burritos.

Menus at Little Rosie's invite curiosity and a spirit of exploration. You might find yourself enjoying a breakfast burrito stuffed with comforting layers of eggs, beans, and potatoes or diving into a platter where green pork sauce brings a touch of heat and depth to a “wet” burrito. Certain plates carry a satisfying heft, the kind of portions that fill you without fuss, while others surprise with bright, fresh flavors or bold, smoky notes. The vibrant mix of dishes reflects not only tradition but a thoughtful nod to current tastes within a down-to-earth setting.

More than just the food, Little Rosie's carries a feeling that lingers — the ease of a place that knows its community well, preserves cultural threads with pride, and invites you in for a moment of genuine enjoyment. It’s the kind of spot you return to, partly for the familiar comfort of well-made Mexican staples and partly for the small human moments shared over warm plates and flavorful conversations.

I'm usually not out in Yucaipa, but today, I'm glad I was. I found this gem of a place. I ordered a breakfast burrito, with potatoes, eggs, beans, and cheese. The flour tortilla is the best I've ever had. The red salsa has the perfect flavor. I can't wait to try the rest of the menu, lol any recommendations?

Great spot to go during my lunch break around 11:30am. I ordered a Gavacho Burrito (veggie burrito) and a side of fries in the drive thru and the food was ready in about 8-10 mins. The service was very friendly and efficient. The burrito and fries were good. Nothing spectacular though. The fries needed a little more salt cuz they were more on the bland side. I would order here again!

Lil Rosie's. The establishment has definatIey preserved the Mexican heritage with their stilo of present day latino decor and music. The food tasted authentic. I liked the names. Adapted to the market trends. I ordered 2X Green Chicken enchiladas with beans and rice. It all was gone in 5-10 minutes. Good flavor moist shredded chicken. Good portions. Full for hours.

I wasn't sure what to order as this was my first time here. I went with a Colorado Pork burrito (they have 2 sizes) I went with the large because Intended to take what I didn't eat to give to my husband. I started eating it and couldn't tell if there was pork meat in it as I just detected beans, rice and cheese. I took the the burrito to the counter to ask if it had pork in it. The guy there opened it up looked and then, with his fingers, grabbed the bits of meat to show me there was some in there. He offered to make me another burrito with less beans and rice. I'm used to chunks of meat in the burritos I get from other places, not shreds of it. The second one was good, but the bottom started seeping out and coming apart and was a mess. I had to get a spoon to eat what came out the bottom. If I go back, I will definitely try something different.
